Terms of Use

Real White Noise is licensed, not sold, to you for use on Apple devices you own or control, under Apple's Licensed Application End User License Agreement, which you can read at apple.com/legal/internet-services/itunes/dev/stdeula. The terms below add to it.

The free version

The free features are free. They are not a trial, they do not expire, and we will not remove a feature from the free tier of a version you already have.

Real White Noise Pro

Monthly and yearly plans are auto-renewing subscriptions. Payment is charged to your Apple Account when you confirm the purchase.
They renew automatically unless you turn off auto-renew at least 24 hours before the end of the current period. Your account is charged for renewal within 24 hours before the period ends.
You can manage or cancel in Settings › your name › Subscriptions on your iPhone, or at apps.apple.com/account/subscriptions.
Lifetime is a single purchase. Nothing renews and nothing is charged again. It unlocks the Pro features on the Apple Account that bought it, for as long as the app is available and runs on your device.
Family Sharing is enabled on all three plans, so one purchase covers up to six people in your Family group.

Refunds

All purchases are processed by Apple, so refunds are handled by Apple. Request one at reportaproblem.apple.com. We cannot issue refunds ourselves.

What the app is not

Real White Noise is for comfort and relaxation. It is not a medical device and it does not diagnose, treat or prevent any condition, including insomnia or tinnitus. It is not a substitute for medical advice.

Please do not rely on it as your only alarm for something that matters. Alarms depend on iOS, on your device having charge, and on you not having revoked the alarm permission.

Listen at a sensible volume

Prolonged listening at high volume can damage your hearing, especially through headphones overnight. Keep it quiet enough that you could hold a conversation over it.

Liability

The app is provided as is, without warranties of any kind to the extent the law allows. We are not liable for indirect or consequential loss, including missed alarms.
