Please include your iPhone model, your iOS version, and what you expected to happen. That is usually enough to find the problem on the first try.

The sound stops when I lock the screen

It should not. Check Settings › White Noise and make sure nothing is restricting background activity, and that Low Power Mode is off. If it still stops, email us with your iPhone model.

My alarm did not go off

Alarms need iOS 26 or later. Open the Wake tab: if it says alarms need a newer iOS, that is why. Otherwise check that the alarm's switch is on and that Settings › White Noise shows alarms allowed. An alarm cannot sound if the phone is switched off.

I bought Pro but the app still shows the free tier

Open More and tap Restore purchase, with the same Apple Account you bought with. If that does not work, email us and say which plan you bought and roughly when.

Can my family use my purchase?

Yes. All three plans have Family Sharing enabled, so up to six people in your Family group get Pro from one purchase. They may need to tap Restore purchase once.

How do I cancel?

Settings › your name › Subscriptions on your iPhone. Cancelling stops future charges; you keep Pro until the period you paid for ends. The lifetime purchase has nothing to cancel.

Why is there no light mode?

The app is meant to be looked at in a dark bedroom. A white screen at 3am wakes you up. If you want more light, the night light is brighter than the app and you can turn its brightness up.

Can I use it with AirPlay or a HomePod?

Yes. It appears in Control Center and on the Lock Screen like any other audio app.

I cannot find the wake sound picker

Choosing your own wake sound needs iOS 26.1 or later. On iOS 26.0 the alarm still works, it just uses the system tone, and the picker is hidden rather than shown doing nothing.

It stops the music I already had playing

That is the default, because a sleep sound over a podcast is usually an accident. Open More and turn on Play alongside other audio if you want both. With it on, this app no longer takes the audio session, so anything else keeps going and the two are mixed at whatever levels each app is set to.

Does it use a lot of battery?

Assembling sound costs a little more than playing a file, but the difference is small, and the screen is off for most of a night's use. The night light, which keeps the screen on, costs much more, so keep your phone on a charger if you use it all night.
